How our pedal-fun events work
Our friendly team at SportIt will guide you through the process from enquiry to the event day. We work with you to personalise your experience based on your school size and preferences.
At the end of the fundraising period, the SportIt team will arrive at your school to set up for an exhilarating day of Grand Prix pedal car and Chopper Bike action.
Students will then come out 1 or 2 classes at a time to engage in 40 minutes of high-energy fun as they compete against their friends in a variety of thrilling Grand Prix pedal car challenges.
The SportIt team will handle every detail, ensuring a seamless experience so teachers can sit back, relax, and enjoy watching their students have an unforgettable day!

SportIt will send you a comprehensive information pack, including all the necessary details and digital marketing materials to help promote the event and maximise sponsorship opportunities.
A TryBookings platform will be created to ensure that collecting funds is simple and secure.
In the lead-up to the event, we provide the digital support to ensure students are assisted to secure as many $10 sponsors as possible, with the top fundraiser winning the fantastic Berg Grand Prix Pedal Car as the grand prize.
THE EVENT
The SportIt team set up and oversee every aspect of the event to ensure maximum enjoyment for students and minimal involvement from busy classroom teachers.
Once all donations have come in, the student who has found the most $10 sponsors will receive a brand-new Berg Grand Prix pedal car courtesy of us. If you choose the milestone add-on, those prizes will also be distributed then.
After all sponsorship funds are collected, your school retains 80% of the total. The remaining 20% covers all other costs, including the grand prize, event staffing, setup, equipment supply, and TryBooking’s administration fee. This ensures we all work together to maximise revenue for your event.

Milestone Prizes (Optional but Recommended)
To maximize the value of your fundraiser, you have the option to include Milestone Prizes. These high-quality prizes from Good Buddy Sports are deducted from the funds raised but account for less than 10% of each student’s total contributions.
It’s an excellent way to boost participation and increase overall revenue for your school.

In the event of bad weather, SportIt will work with your school to create a wet-weather plan at an indoor location or to reschedule the Pedlathon for a later date. We ensure that the event runs smoothly, regardless of any unforeseen circumstances.
