GYMNASTICS

Students explore different ways to move their bodies through rolls, jumps, landings and supports before linking them into movement sequences. Stage-appropriate challenges using bars, springboards, wedges, beams, mats and other apparatus help students refine their movement skills, control and confidence.

ATHLETICS

From sprinting, relays and middle-distance running to long jump, high jump, shot and discus, students develop technique through progressive track and field activities. The Sportit team can also assist with your school’s Athletics carnival, if required.

BALL SPORTS & TEAM WORKING

Students put movement skills into action through traditional and modified ball sports, game sense and team games. In a fun, motivating environment, they practise communication, decision-making, cooperation and fair play to achieve success together.

FUNDAMENTAL MOVEMENT

Students practise and refine skills such as running, jumping, balancing, throwing, catching, kicking and striking. Progressive activities build coordination and control, providing a strong foundation for applying these skills in Sportit’s Ball Sports & Teamworking program.
